Next, you’ll be connected to a trained, volunteer crisis responder who you can talk to about any issue, big or small.
You can end a conversation with a crisis responder at any time by texting the word STOP. You won’t receive any more messages unless you text again.
Is Good2Talk confidential and anonymous?
Good2Talk is private and confidential. But what does that actually mean?
Are these services for me?
If you’re a current post-secondary student residing and studying in Nova Scotia, you’re eligible for this service. Post-secondary institutions include (but are not limited to) colleges, universities, trade schools and Indigenous institutions.
Are you an international student?
If you’re an international post-secondary student residing and studying in Nova Scotia, you’re eligible for this service. If you need support navigating things like culture shock, discrimination, language barriers, feelings of homesickness and isolation or anything else that might be on your mind, Good2Talk is here for you.
Who will I be talking to?
When you text, you’ll be talking to a volunteer crisis responder. Crisis responders are trained, dedicated volunteers from across Canada who are passionate about helping young people and are supervised by professional staff.

Free, confidential support from volunteer crisis responders on a range of mental health and well-being topics.
