What is the “Good2Talk Evaluation”?
An annual evaluation of Good2Talk’s services is carried out by partner organization the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health. The online survey is open for a period of 6 weeks.
What is the goal of the survey?
The goal of this survey is to get your feedback so that we can learn how the helpline is working and how we can better support you.
How will the survey responses be used?
The survey data will be analyzed to evaluate Good2Talk services. We want to know who is calling, reasons for calling, what is working, and how we can improve Good2Talk services. Results from the evaluation will be summarized in a report.
Who can complete the survey?
If you are a post-secondary student who has recently called Good2Talk and would like to provide feedback on the service you received, we would like to hear from you. Please complete the survey no more than 2 days after your call.
Is there a limit on the number of times I can complete the survey?
We invite you to complete the survey once per call. If you have called Good2Talk more than once, please feel free to answer the survey to provide feedback after each call.
How long will the survey take to complete?
The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.
Will I receive anything for participating in the survey?
At the end of the survey, you will be provided with the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a $10 gift card to Tim Hortons, as a token of appreciation. Please be advised, that to receive this gift card, you will be required to provide us with your email address. Your responses to the survey, however, will remain confidential and unlinked to your contact information.
Are my responses anonymous?
Yes, all responses are confidential and anonymous. We don’t collect or display any identifying information such as name, or telephone number. If you choose to provide us with your e-mail address to receive a gift card, this information will not be linked with your survey responses and will not be shared. You will not be identified in any publication or presentation of this evaluation.
